What to Consider When Buying a Grinder or a Vaporizer?

When you are planing to buy a quality product its important to make sure you have all the boxes checked and ensure you are buying an authentic product. Here is a list of things to consider when shopping for a new grinder.
Basically at the end of the day, the quality of the grinder you get depends on how much you want to spend. Straight off the bat I highly recommend that you stay away from anything under $25, this price range is full of fake grinders that are made to a low quality standard. Many friends have been through 3-4 of these over just a few years. Buying quality pays off, my Space Case is 3+ years old and still kicking ass, still sharp as hell.

Size

Here is another big thing to consider, there are 3 main sized of grinder. Small medium and large, think about how much herb you use in the average week. A rough guide would be if you smoke less than a gram a week, get a small grinder. If you smoke between 1 and 3 grams a week get a medium sized grinder. When you are grinding more than 3 grams a week, its time to bring in the big guns. Use a large grinder, this will excel in group sessions. Bare in mind a large size grinder will not fit in most pockets and will be less stealthy than its smaller counterparts.

Finished Product

Different methods of enjoying your herb will require a different type of grind. I have compiled the main types and the perfect grinder to fit that task.

Vaporizing

Finding the best portable vaporizer grinder (check our MrVapo.Com) is important as finding the right vaporizer. The perfect grind can be the difference between a great vaping experience and an utter fail (burning the herb). The finer your herb is ground the more vapor that will be produced. Furthering this, a fine consistent grind ensures that material is vaped evenly. This will let you rip huge clouds and get you where you need to be. More on this HERE!

Bongs

When you are mainly using a bong you don’t need to be too picky about the way your bud is ground, it will burn evenly regardless. If you usually smoke with a combination of bongs and blunts read the rolling section bellow and make a choice that will benefit both styles.Rolling
Contrary to belief, you need a consistent grind that is not too fine, too fine and you will get side burns and you can suck herb through the filter. If your grind is not consistent than you can experience a poorly burning joint. When rolling J’s or blunts it is helpful to use a larger grinder as it acts as a rolling tray. Give it a try!

Cooking

To release the maximum THC from your material a super fine grind is requited this is why many use a coffee grinder to break down their herb before cooking it into canna butter. An electric coffee grinder will make fast work of your herb and can process an ounce very quickly. This is important as cooking with cannabis often calls for quite a lot of herb.
